Parameters for Boric acid titration with colori-

metric sensor

Select Boric acid titration for the parameter

“Titration type“. The volume of the boric acid to be

dosed into the receiving vessel can be speciﬁed

and the titration solution can be selected from the

Volumetric solutions list (see chapter ”6.8.2

Volumetric Solutions”).

Select Colorimetric for the parameter “Sensor

type“. Make sure the boric acid and the indicator

solution are prepared according to the instructions

in the application note!

Furthermore the stirrer speed for the titration and a

titration start volume can be speciﬁed. The speci-

ﬁed titration start volume is dosed into the receiving

vessel at the beginning of the titration.

With the parameter “Titration algorithm” one of

two available algorithms for the titration can be

selected:

Optimal: This algorithm has been optimized with

respect to the duration of the titration and the accu-

racy of the result. It is recommended for samples

with a higher nitrogen content.

Normal: This algorithm has been optimized with

respect to the accuracy of the result but will require

a longer time than the optimal algorithm. The

normal algorithm is recommended for samples with

a very low nitrogen content.
