3.7.8 Scanning

Scanning over the whole detection range causes a high workload on the detector and its communica-

tion lines. To keep the workload for the instrument as low as possible the sample measurement of the

four predeﬁned wavelengths for the four analog outputs is omitted during a scan. This means during a

scan the measured values on to the analog outputs will not be updated - instead the last values from

the time before the scan started will be passed on till the scan is ﬁnished.

Note

The scanning functionality is only available if the detector is controlled by the SepacoreControl soft-

ware.
